I've received a Section 21 notice — do I have to leave?
Not immediately, and often not at all. A Section 21 notice only works if it meets strict legal requirements, and your landlord still needs a court order before you can be made to leave. We'll check whether the notice is valid and tell you exactly where you stand.
Can I claim compensation for damp and mould?
Often, yes. If you've told your landlord about serious disrepair — damp, mould, leaks, broken heating — and they've failed to put it right, you may be able to force the repairs and claim compensation. We handle the whole claim for you.
My landlord won't return my deposit — what can I do?
Your deposit has to be protected and can only be withheld for real, evidenced reasons. If it's being kept unfairly we'll help you get it back, and if it was never protected you may be owed up to three times the deposit.
